Over the weekend, a group of Christian protesters set up across the street from the line of fans waiting to get into a Lil Nas X concert in Boston.

They weren't there explicitly to protest the singer, whose relatively clean initial image from his first single "Old Town Road" has become more edgy over the years.

But the timing and place were suspect.

A fan took video.

But instead of being angry about the protesters, Lil Nas X retweeted the video.

He added he told his team to send the protesters pizza for being excellent promoters.

Responses were mostly gleeful about the singer's latest finessed clapback.

Many agreed the publicity from getting protesters is great and means you're succeeding.

The Christian protests are very on brand for the singer's more recent videos.

In one he is seen giving a lap dance to Satan.

Another person remarked it's not really that many protesters.

Maybe only 1 pizza's worth?

Some remarked in metaphorically turning the other cheek, Lil Nas X was being more Christian than the protesters themselves.

Hope they enjoyed the pizza!

However, we often don't use the term exactly that way. The requirement of concurrence is often missing in the colloquial usage of "coincidence." We use it more often to mean "something that's not planned or arranged but seems like it is."
