Lil Nas X Claps Back Hard After Twitter Troll Accuses Him Of Not Actually Being Gay Or 'Feminine'

Lil Nas X Claps Back Hard After Twitter Troll Accuses Him Of Not Actually Being Gay Or 'Feminine'

A Twitter user tried to claim the rapper is 'not really gay or not really that feminine,' and he fired back.

Lil Nas X has never shied away from speaking his mind—you kind of can't when part of your art is being a provocateur. So when a troll recently tried to come for him, the rapper had some choice words.

The altercation happened, of course, on Twitter, where Lil Nas X has become known for hilarious wisecracks and in particular for forceful clapbacks at his various haters, whether they be Republican ideologues or garden variety trolls, as in this case.

It all began when a Nicki Minaj stan posted a tweet accusing Lil Nas X of not actually being gay, calling his queer presentation "forced."

Along with a clip of Lil Nas X performing his and Saucy Santana's song "Down Souf Hoes" at Lollapalooza Chile last weekend, the Twitter troll wrote:

"I feel like he’s not really gay or not really that feminine it’s so forced."

If you're squinting at that sentence wondering aloud, "What does that even mean?" you're certainly not alone, and Lil Nas X was right there with you with a perfect response—probably in part because he's already dealt with this nonsense several times before.

Which brings us to Lil Nas X's perfect clapback.

Quote-tweeting the troll's ridiculous post, Lil Nas X quipped, "oh no guys it's the estrogen expert."

Queer people, of course, come in an array of gender presentations and expressions—there are myriad gay men who are not feminine at all, after all, and others who sometimes are and sometimes aren't.

There are effeminate gay men who play sports and there are so-called "butch" gay men who do drag, because gender is a social construct in the first place and it doesn't even matter. People can be and do what they want!

And if you really need something to prove Lil Nas X's queer bona fides, how about the fact he's spent his entire brief career so far being publicly shamed for being openly and outspokenly gay. This troll may not believe him, but the people out here trying to legislate queer people out of existence certainly do.

The troll was unfazed by Lil Nas X's response, going on to call the rapper a "cringe" and "inauthentic... caricature of a fem boy," which makes even less sense than than the first tweet, but whatever.

Lil Nas X's fans quite rightly found this whole thing as silly as the rapper himself seemed to.

Moral of the story—don't try to beat "the bussy boss" at Twitter trolling. You'll lose.

Trump Ripped After Going Off On Bonkers Rant About Room's Decor During Cabinet Meeting

During Tuesday's cabinet meeting while the press was in attendance, MAGA Republican President Donald Trump gave a rambling stream of consciousness speech that went all over the place before landing on paint versus gold leaf, leading people to again question the POTUS' mental acuity amid a notable cognitive decline.

In a disjointed monologue about the decor in the cabinet room, Trump said he stole a grandfather clock from Secretary of State Marco Rubio's office and chose a painting of James Polk because the frame matched the frame around his favorite President—Andrew Jackson.
