Lil Nas X is best known for being an incredibly talented songwriter and musical artist.

Recently, Lil Nas X fans got to see his mischievous side in a video where he played a practical joke on some celebrity friends.

The musician facetimed some of his closest pals. Except instead of speaking to him, he put his wax likeness in the camera frame.

Fans got to revel in the utter confusion exhibited by some of their favorite celebrities as their brains took time to process whether they were looking at Lil Nas X or not.

You can see video below.

The video showcases A-list stars Lizzo and Olivia Rodrigo.

Lil Nas X also pranked friends Troye Sevan, Steve Lacy and Rico Nasty.

To enact his ruse, Lil Nas X enlisted the help of world famous wax museum Madame Tussauds which has been sculpting wax figures and placing them in museums internationally since 1835.

The museum originally featured attractions such as its "Chamber of Horrors", which exhibited appealing yet disturbing wax renditions to its 19th century onlookers. However, Madame Tussauds now focuses more on creating models centered around pop culture icons.

It's safe to say their recent work for Lil Nas X is jaw droppingly realistic.

While some of Lil Nas X's friends caught on to the joke immediately, Lizzo was noticeably baffled by the real life looks of the figure.

"What the f***. I thought it was you. I was like why are you in your Met Gala outfit?"

Although, celebrity wax figures are not always so well received.

Despite, the careful work that goes into the sculptures many simply seem to miss their mark.

Billy Eilish's wax figure caused quite a stir earlier this year when it was released at the Hollywood Wax Museum.

Likewise, Nicki Minaj fell victim to a less than stellar sculpture.

Rihanna's wax figure also faced some criticism.

Ariana Grande's figure couldn't escape controversy either.

But not all wax figures have gotten a bad wrap.

Drake's likeness by Madame Tussauds in 2019 was widely praised.

Despite the past's hiccups, Twitter has come out to give credit where it is due for the new Lil Nas X sculpture.

It's important to note even though the best wax sculptors in the world have their difficulties, it is a testament to the skill that goes into the process when they finally get it right.

One can only imagine the amount of time and detail that went into Lil Nas X's figure.

A big kudos to the sculptors at Madame Tussauds for bringing it to life.

Design For New Commemorative Coin Featuring Trump Just Dropped—And People Can't Believe It's Real

On March 19, the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts (CFA), comprising people appointed by MAGA Republican President Donald Trump, unanimously approved a final design concept proposed for a 24-karat gold United States semiquincentennial commemorative coin.

Instead of featuring the Declaration of Independence or some other images central to the foundation of the nation in 1776 or more universally recognized symbols from the last 250 years, the CFA chose a sketch based on a photo of Trump leaning over the Resolute desk in the Oval Office for the coin's obverse or "heads" side.

Gavin Newsom Said What We're All Thinking About Trump's Decision To Deploy ICE To Airports

After President Donald Trump moved to deploy ICE agents to U.S. airports amid a partial government shutdown that has caused exceptionally long delays at TSA lines nationwide, California Governor Gavin Newsom pointed out exactly why the move is so troubling for citizens and non-citizens alike.

ICE agents are still getting paid during the shutdown, unlike TSA agents, who are currently working unpaid and struggling amid the affordability crisis. News outlets have confirmed ICE agents have been deployed in airports that serve Democratic strongholds, particularly John F. Kennedy and LaGuardia Airports (New York), O'Hare International Airport (Chicago), and others.
