Liam Gallagher had a thing or two to say about his fellow 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominees, and well, to put it nicely, he's none too pleased with this year's selection.
Aside from Gallagher, other nominees include Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Cher, Dave Matthews Band, Eric B. & Rakim, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Jane's Addiction, Kool & the Gang, Lenny Kravitz, the late Sinéad O'Connor, Ozzy Osbourne, Sade and A Tribe Called Quest.
In an interview with The Sunday Times, the former Oasis member strongly voiced his displeasure.
"As much as I love Mariah Carey and all that, I want to say: do me a favor and f**k off."
He continued:
"It’s like putting me in the rap hall of fame, and I don’t want to be part of anything that mentally disturbed."
"Besides, I’ve done more for rock’n’roll than half of them clowns on that board, so it’s all a load of bollocks."
Gallagher also took to social media to share a very similar thought, tweeting the day after the nominees were announced:
"F**k the Rock n Roll hall of fame its full of BUMBLACLARTS LG x"

While many on social media thought Gallagher's terminology was a bit brash, they didn't necessarily disagree with his take.
And others noted that the phrase "Rock & Roll" tends to be used a bit loosely when it comes to the Hall of Fame.
While Gallagher may not be looking forward to the 2024 Hall of Fame induction, he does have a positive outlook about the possibility of an Oasis reunion.
Gallagher's brother and lead guitarist Noel parted ways with the band in 2009 and they haven't played together since.
But Liam teased that may all change soon.
"I love my brother, I love my family."
"There was no need for it, you know what I mean? Maybe someone can get a bit tetchy on tour. Maybe someone drinks a bit too much. But we didn’t have to split up over it."
"I don’t hold grudges, man, and if Oasis got back together it would be great because I would only have to sing 15 songs and he could do the rest."
We'll be waiting...
