Singer Lenny Kravitz has some seriously good genes. If you've ever seen Zoë Kravitz, his daughter, you know those good genes run very strong.

Now 56, the singer recently posted a photo of himself shirtless on Instagram, looking like a whole meal.

Kravitz is absolutely ripped and, looking at the rest of his Instagram, looks like he likes to stay really active.

Twitter reacted in a couple of ways to this post.

For some, it was thirst. For others, it was, "How do I look like garbage in my late 20s when Lenny Kravitz looks like this in his mid-50s?"

Kravitz lives in the Bahamas, and attributes his health and body to being vegan and growing his own fruit for consumption.

"I'm very careful about what I put into my body and how I take care of my body," he told Men's Health.

"It's a combination of eating all these things and working out and keeping my muscles and my joints in shape, so that I can do what I do."

Kravitz released a memoir in late 2020 entitled Let Love Live, in which he talked about being a touring musician in his 50s:

"It is a very hard life, it's a wonderful life, it's a blessed life, but it's a job, man. Once you're on that road ... and traveling the world and everything is about those two and a half hours on stage or however long it might be, you're dedicated and it takes a lot out of you."

"And no, I'm not 20 anymore, but I think my energy is even better now than it was then. I look at people like Mick Jagger, who's in his mid-70s and can still work a stadium like no other, he still has that energy and that strength."
"He and I have known each other for some years now, and we spent time together, I can tell you that he's made that decision to be able to continue doing that, there's discipline involved, what he will and will not put in his body, how he exercises, how he rests, etc. And so I've decided that I'm going to continue doing this as long as I can."

Kravitz certainly has crafted plenty of success in keeping himself fit and energetic, if this Instagram photo is any indication.
