It's confirmed: the opposing bidder for The Brady Bunch house was not George Glass.

After Lance Bass had his hopes dashed by an uncompromising bidding war over the iconic TV home, HGTV was revealed as the new owner, and Bass is okay with that.

On Tuesday, the former NSYNC singer conceded on Twitter. "HGTV??! Aw man. I'd be pretty upset if it were anyone else, but how can you be mad at HGTV??" he wrote. "My television is stuck on that channel. Kudos HGTV, I know you will do the right thing with the house. That was always my biggest worry. I can smile again."

The listing started at $1.9 million, and the agent representing the estate initially informed Bass he had the winning bid for 11222 Dilling St. in North Hollywood, California. But things abruptly changed.

The next day, due to 'unforeseen circumstances' the same agent informed us that there's another Corporate Buyer (Hollywood studio) who wants the house at any cost.

He was discouraged to continue the futile bidding war because the "other buyer," whom we now know to be HGTV, would "outperform any bid with unlimited resources."

News over losing the house made famous by the 1970s sitcom left the singer heartbroken. However, fears that another developer would raze the legendary ranch-style home in Tinseltown can at least be put to rest.

According to CNN, David Zaslav, chief executive officer of HGTV's parent company Discovery, spilled the beans on the house's future during the company's second-quarter earnings call.

I'm excited to share that HGTV is the winning bidder and we'll restore the home to its 1970s glory as only HGTV can. More detail to come over the next few months, but we'll bring all the resources to bear to tell safe, fun stories with this beloved piece of American TV history.

The home improvement network wasn't one for a victory lap after trampling Bass's prospects of acquiring the house. After Bass congratulating them, HGTV tweeted back "Aww, thanks @LanceBass. Consider yourself officially part of the HGTV bunch! Yours truly, HGTV (aka The Lance Bass Fan Club)."

Maybe they'll collaborate on an exciting new series.

Still, Team Lance was empathetic.

Whatever work project HGTV has in store for the house's future, It looks like the network and Lance Bass both have the integrity of the house in their best interests. And who knows, maybe they will work together in some capacity. Call it a hunch.

Caroline Rose Giuliani, the daughter of former New York City Mayor Giuliani, penned a heartbreaking essay for Vanity Fair about "watching my dad’s life crumble" since he joined forces with former President Donald Trump.

In it, she implored Americans to vote for Vice President Kamala Harris on Election Day, saying "it would be naive for us to ignore the fact that many of those closest to Trump have descended into catastrophic downward spirals" and that "If we let Trump back into the driver's seat this fall, our country will be no exception."
