Ripley's Believe It or Not! museum revealed its wax sculptures of Lady Gaga's Harley Quinn and Joaquin Phoenix's Joker ahead of 'Joker: Folie à Deux'—but fans aren't appreciating Gaga's likeness.

Kitschy tourist attraction Ripley's Believe It Or Not! is capitalizing on the Joker: Folie à Deux movie, the sequel movie to 2019's Joker starring Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn and Joaquin Phoenix, who is reprising the titular role.

On April 5, the museum's X (formerly Twitter) account featured the wax sculptures of the two stars as their DC Comics characters for its newest attraction ahead of the upcoming film's release.

Ripley's shared a photo of the evil duo and wrote:

"We're just clowning around, don't mind us..."

Unfortunately, the wax figure of Lady Gaga as the Joker's henchwoman disappointed people, as they didn't see a resemblance to the "Bloody Mary" singer.

Social media users dragged Ripley's for disrespecting Gaga like that.

After all, she wasn't exactly born this way.

A user wondered if the sculptor had a personal vendetta for Lady Gaga.

Others thought the sculpture was a living nightmare.

Tourists thought Ripley's rival museum did Gaga better.

Yet, here we are.

Even the late Heath Ledger, who portrayed the Joker from 2008's The Dark Knight, disapproved.

Joker: Folie à Deux is billed as a "musical psychological thriller" film, which left moviegoers doing a doubletake.

However, it added to the already hyped sequel to Joker, which was intended as a standalone film without sequels but launched as part of DC Black, a line of movies based on the DC Comics unrelated to the DC Extended Universe (DCEU).

Joker: Folie à Deux is directed by Todd Phillips, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Scott Silver.

It is scheduled for an October 4, 2024 release by Warner Bros. Pictures.
