Woman Does Hilarious Double Take After Spotting Lady Gaga At A Mostly Empty Burger King

CCTV footage of the Oscar winner milling about a Burger King in California at night is going viral.

Even superstars have cravings for fast food now and then.

Including Oscar and 13-time Grammy-award-winning superstar Stefan Germanotta, better known to her legion of fans as Lady Gaga.

Indeed, the "Born This Way" singer was recently spotted at a Burger King in King City, California, and caught on video by the location's CCTV footage.

The footage was later shared on the X (formerly Twitter) Lady Gaga fan account Gaga Notify:

The 35-second video captures the star of the recent Joker: Folie à Deux in an uncharacteristically low-key moment.

Known for her glamorous, sometimes over-the-top fashion, makeup, and hairstyles, the singer and actress was caught in an understated black ensemble with platform boots, her long (currently platinum blonde) hair in a simple ponytail.

Her behavior in the video was equally inconspicuous, holding two large-sized drinks, occasionally taking a sip from one of them, and otherwise wandering around the seemingly empty location of the famed fast food franchise, taking a moment to gaze at the digital order kiosk, and casually taking in her surroundings.

Towards the end of the video, a young woman, identified by KSBW Action News 8 as local resident Iris Castillo, entered the restaurant just as Gaga's fiancé Michael Polansky emerged from the men's room.

Castillo was caught doing a double take as the couple walked out the door.

Indeed, Castillo told KSBW that she is still in disbelief over her brief, unexpected star sighting.

“I was in disbelief.”
“She looked right at me and smiled."
"I kept turning around like 'Is that really her?'’”

Castillo also told KSBW that while the chanteuse respectfully declined a photo request from the Burger King staff on duty, she was friendly and gracious to everyone.

Viewers of the video on X were equally amazed and starstruck to see the music icon in such an unexpected place, with many similarly amused by Castillo's reaction:

It's nice to see the ever-busy superstar was able to enjoy a moment of peace and comfort ahead of performing at the Fire Aid Benefit Concert in Inglewood, California, to raise funds for the Los Angeles County Fire Relief efforts following the devastating wildfires that ravaged the southern California.

It is something of a shame that Lady Gaga didn't fulfill her fast food cravings at a Burger King in the UK.

Earlier this year, Burger King UK's X account jokingly said that Lady Gaga would be headlining a future event at one of their locations, following a viral video of Dua Lipa performing at a private event at a Barcelona McDonald's.

Maybe on her next pit stop, we'll get a performance in addition to a viral video...
