MAGA Actor Kristy Swanson Dragged After Claiming There Isn't A Single Biden Sign In The 'Entire Country'

Kristy Swanson, a vocal Republican who once starred in such films as Flowers in the Attic and Buffy the Vampire Slayer and has since made a name for herself as one of former Republican President Donald Trump's most faithful acolytes, was dragged after she claimed there isn't a single sign signaling support for Democratic President Joe Biden anywhere in the "entire country."

Swanson also disputed the fact Biden won 81 million votes during 2020's election contest because—she claims—there isn't "one yard sign, flag, bumper sticker, t-shirt or hat" pledging support for the President almost two years after the election.

Swanson is incorrect, of course, given there is plenty of evidence Biden enjoys the support of much of the electorate.

President Biden received 81,284,666 votes during the 2020 general election and 306 electoral votes, above the 270 needed to become the 46th President of the United States. Biden's win made Trump the first President to lose a reelection bid since George H.W. Bush, also a Republican, in 1992.

Trump—who also lost the popular vote in 2016—has long described his first electoral college win as a “landslide,” but has failed to note Biden defeated him by a larger electoral vote margin than Trump defeated Hillary Clinton by in 2016.

The 2016 electoral college tally was Trump 304, Clinton 227 after 7 electors voted for people other than Trump or Clinton.

The 2020 electoral college tally was Biden 306, Trump 232.

Nate Silver, the statistician best known as the face of FiveThirtyEight, “found that the percentage of electoral vote won by Trump [in 2016]—56.9 percent—was well below the historical average, 70.9 percent,” according to a Factcheck.org investigation conducted at the time.

Factcheck.org added “Silver found that Trump’s share of electoral votes ranked 44th out of 54 elections going back to 1804. Before that, Silver noted that “presidential electors cast two votes each, making it hard to compare them to present-day elections.”

Swanson was swiftly criticized by voters who said they did not need to flash signs to indicate their support for the President while others openly mocked the absurdity of her claim.

Swanson's devotion to Trump is well known.

Swanson openly defended Trump against accusations that he had emboldened neo-Nazis and White supremacists who'd marched on the city of Charlottesville, Virginia in 2017, calling herself "a proud Republican."

Speaking to the press in 2019, she claimed she and fellow actor Dean Cain had received "death threats" due to their support of Trump after headlining FBI Lovebirds: Undercovers, a production based on text messages recovered by federal investigators from former Trump-Russia investigators Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, who were having an affair.

Swanson, a known COVID-19 denier who has promoted debunked conspiracy theories about Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, as well as the efficacy of vaccines, was hospitalized with a severe case of the virus last year.
