Kit Connor, one of the stars of the Netflix teen series Heartstopper, admitted he's smitten with British film icon Hugh Grant and fans of the series are absolutely loving it.

The young star revealed his admiration for Grant during a panel discussion about the Netflix show, an LGBTQ+-themed teen drama, at the British Film Institute & Radio Times Television Festival earlier this week.

And like so many of us, it was Grant's performance in the iconic rom-com Notting Hill that gave Connor what he called his "big fat crush."

Hear Connor's comments below.

Connor told the audience Notting Hill, Richard Curtis' classic 1999 rom-com about a love affair between Grant's affably awkward shopkeeper and the biggest movie star in the world, played by Julia Roberts, is one of his all-time favorite movies.

"In terms of a film, I don’t know why, but 'Notting Hill' has always been like my … I just put it on."

And after quoting the film's memorable moment when Roberts ribs Grant for his adorably dorky use of the saying "whoopsie daisies," Connor revealed his admiration for Grant.

"I have such a fat crush on Hugh Grant."

Connor also credited Grant's performance in Notting Hill with helping him get comfortable with his onscreen love interest, played by out gay actor Joe Locke.

He explained during a photo shoot, Locke told him to "just talk" in order to look natural.

So naturally, Connor channeled Grant's nervously chatty Notting Hill character and began telling Locke about his favorite film.

"Well, I don’t know what to talk about. In my mind, I just think: Hugh Grant. So, I start to be like, ‘Notting Hill’, and he says… he hasn’t seen 'Notting Hill'."

Sounds like these two need a movie night immediately.

On Twitter, fans of both actors went crazy over Connor's big crush.

Despite speculation among Heartstopper's fanbase and the media, Connor has declined to define his sexuality, saying he is comfortable with it and feels no need to label it.

But if anyone's appeal transcends sexual orientation, it's Hugh Grant.

Consider Connor a Grantosexual.
