Needless to say, the teacher wasn't pleased.

As a kid, you probably had days where your teacher seemed to espouse incorrect or inaccurate information to your class, and you yearned to just tell them off in an epic rant.

Well one youngster recently did just that after his teacher taught his class about Christopher Columbus.

In a scathing journal entry, 8-year-old King Johnson claimed that "today was not a good learning day," and accused his teacher of teaching "lies."

"Today was not a good learning day. Blah blah blah I only wanted to hear you not talking. You said something wrong and I can't listen when I hear lies," the journal entry begins.

"My mom said that the only Christofer [sic] we acknowledge is Wallace," the entry continues, referring to the real name of rapper Notorious B.I.G.

"Because Columbus didn't find our country," King corrects. "The Indians did."

"I like to have Columbus Day off," he admits, "but I want you to not teach me lies. That is all."

He ends the entry: "My question for this day is how can white people teach black history?"

Who is this kid??

The teacher was clearly not amused by the entry, writing: "King, I am very disappointed in your journal today."

King's response? "Ok."

That basically says it all right there.

And while his teacher may not have been happy about being called out, many on Twitter had a different opinion about the journal entry:

I mean, his name is King. Did we expect anything less?

Of course there were those who were critical of how King called out his teacher for a variety of reasons:

But for the most part, people were impressed:

Apparently King, with the help of his mom, now has an Instagram page as well, and he's already infinitely cooler than all of us:

He even shared part of a note from a teacher who praised King for speaking his mind:

If King continues to think critically and question the accepted norms and lessons he is taught, then it certainly seems like he has a very bright future ahead of him.

Keep up the great work, King!

Twitter recommended, President approved.

Trump Slammed After Touting Plan To Financially Compensate Pardoned Jan. 6 Rioters

President Donald Trump is facing criticism after suggesting the creation of a "compensation fund" for individuals who were pardoned after participating in the January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol.

In one of his first official actions upon returning to office, Trump granted sweeping clemency to nearly 1,600 people charged in connection with the riot. He issued pardons to most defendants and commuted the sentences of 14 members of the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers militia, many of whom had been convicted of seditious conspiracy.
