Angelina Wiley was shot while waiting for a Lyft after a New Year's Eve party—and credits how tight her SKIMS bodysuit was with preventing her from 'bleeding out.'

Kim Kardashian got an impressive endorsement from a customer who claimed her SKIMS bodysuit saved her life after she was shot four times.

According to Page Six, Angelina Wiley was shot four times on New Year's Eve while waiting for a Lyft in Kansas City, Missouri.

But Wiley believes things could have been significantly worse had it not been for the bodysuit she wore underneath her dress.

"It's like body armor for women," said the survivor and loyal customer of Kardashian's shapewear brand.

In a viral TikTok video, Wiley explained how wearing the shapewear had a role in sparing her life.

"It was so tight on me that it literally kept me from bleeding out."

She added:

"I recommend it. I'm definitely gonna buy some more. I mean I should wear it everyday."
"Call it fate or Jesus, but I'mma call it Kim."

You can watch her TikTok clip in which she proudly proclaimed:

"Kim Kardashian saved my life."

Users also suggested the businesswoman and socialite send Wiley a new bodysuit since detectives have the ruined shapewear she wore on New Year's Eve as part of an ongoing investigation for the shooting.

SKIMS was co-founded in June 2019 by Kardashian, Emma Grede, and Jens Grede.

The line of shapewear promotes body positivity and inclusivity. It offers inclusive sizing from XXS to 5XL and comes in nine different shades to accommodate different skin tones.

As of July 2023, the company is valued at over $4 billion.

But the story of how the shapewear literally saved Wiley's life is priceless.
