The singer got heated with an overzealous security guard on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet after she was hastily ushered up the stairs and had her dress stepped on.

Kelly Rowland had enough of a security guard while walking the red carpet at Cannes, and seemingly put the guard in her place.

Rowland was at the Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday evening for the premiere of Marcello Mio where she stunned in red and rocked a short platinum bob.

Footage shows the singer posing and waving happily for photographers before being motioned by event staff to begin ascending the steps at the Palais des Festivals.

Rowland began moving forward, being ushered on either side by more staff on site, and she continued to smile and wave, stopping some along the way as ushers motioned her forward.

As security formed a wall discretely guiding the singer where to go, she continued up the stairs, at one point with the support of an acquaintance.

But then another security guard stepped in and held Rowland's arm, stepping on the bottom of her dress in the process.

The former Destiny's Child star turned to her and said some words, seeming to gesture that she doesn't need the rather intimate assistance.

However, when Rowland returned to her ascent, the security guard assumed the position, at which point Rowland pointed in her face and shared what looked to be some heated words.

As the singer reached the Palais, the security guard did the same with Rowland's acquaintance as they exchanged some dialogue.

You can watch below.

While viewers were certainly entertained by the footage...

...they also didn't blame Rowland for giving the security guard a quick lesson on boundaries.

And some self-proclaimed lip readers on social media tried to decipher some of the exchange.

Representatives for Cannes and Rowland have yet to respond to requests for comments.

But we bet they don't try that again.

Citizens of both Greenland and the Faroe Islands are full citizens of Denmark. As one of the Overseas Countries and Territories of the European Union, Greenland’s citizens are also recognized as EU citizens.

Karoline Leavitt Dragged After Making Mind-Numbing Claim About Trump's Tariffs Reversal

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is getting called out after she attempted to justify President Donald Trump's sudden reversal on his proposed tariffs, telling reporters that his actions make sense because he has a master plan to make the world bend the knee.

Trump declared a full 90-day suspension of all the “reciprocal” tariffs that took effect at midnight April 10—except for those on China—in a dramatic about-face from a president who had long championed his historically high tariff rates as permanent.
