The singer quickly turned the mic over to an officiant after learning that two of her gay fans were planning to get married in the middle of her concert on New Year's Eve in Las Vegas.

Kelly Clarkson helped a gay couple ring in the new year as husband and husband when she unexpectedly bore witness to their nuptials... which took place during her concert.

Clarkson was in the middle of her New Year's Eve performance at Planet Hollywood’s Bakkt in Las Vegas when she stopped to speak with two men in the audience.

The two men, Ryan and Marcelo, revealed to the Grammy winner:

“Our wedding is tonight, with you."

A delighted Clarkson passed the mic to an officiant, who delivered an expedited ceremony:

“By the power of Kelly Clarkson’s show ... I pronounce you both husband and husband."

The singer then approached a woman who appeared to be the mother of one of the grooms and asked:

“What did your baby just do?”

After a moment she turned back to the newlyweds, wishing them well and gushing:

“You guys, that was so wonderful.”

Clarkson's Las Vegas residency began in July and finished in August after 10 shows. In October, four additional dates were added, including the New Year's Eve concert, that will extend into next month.

And thank goodness for that!

Some people wait a lifetime 🎶 for a moment like the one Ryan and Marcelo just experienced.
