The Kansas City Chiefs lost the Super Bowl to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.

While the game was going on, ESPN and their off-shoot, Sportscenter, offered commentary by taking photos of Patrick Mahomes', QB for the Chiefs, face looking none too pleased.

Mahomes' fiancée, fitness influencer Brittany Matthews, slammed both tweets.

"Love the support of a major sports platform for one of the best players in the league," she tweeted sardonically at ESPN.

"Y'all are [trash] for this too," she tweeted at Sportscenter.

Matthews is currently pregnant with she and Mahomes' first child, and the due date is reportedly "coming up pretty quickly."

She also tweeted "Not how we wanted it to end, but 15 [Mahomes] played his heart out and I'm always and forever proud of him in everything he does!"

"Now let's have a baby."

Twitter found Matthews' slamming unnecessary and fired back at her with a series of tweets that called her out for previous tweets idolizing Tom Brady, quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and some racist old tweets among other things.

Matthews received a large number of these call-outs, causing her to be the butt of a few memes as well.

Matthews and Mahomes mother, Randi Mahomes, have a reputation for being fiercely defensive of Patrick online.

But where there are lashes, there shall be backlash as the internet quickly proved.

American YouTuber Arrested After Sneaking Onto Remote Island And Leaving Diet Coke For Uncontacted Tribe

24-year-old YouTuber Mykhailo Viktorovych Polyakov was arrested after making contact with one of the world's last uncontacted tribes, making the perilous and ill-advised journey to North Sentinel Island and leaving a coconut and a can of Diet Coke on the beach as a gift to the Sentinelese.

Polyakov, 24, arrived at the northeastern shore of North Sentinel Island at 10 a.m. on March 29, according to police reports. He used binoculars to survey the land but saw no one. He then climbed ashore, leaving behind a Diet Coke and a coconut, took sand samples, and recorded a video, the authorities said.
