On her first day as White House Press Secretary earlier this year, Kayleigh McEnany vowed to White House correspondents that she would "never lie" to them.

She proceeded to break that promise only minutes later, and—like the Trump administration's three press secretaries before her—McEnany continued to lie daily in an effort to defend the administration.

McEnany absurdly claimed that Trump never downplayed the virus that's killed over 300 thousand Americans. She lied that President-elect Joe Biden admitted to facilitating nonexistent widespread voter fraud. She lied that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) pursuing Trump's impeachment through a process laid out in the Constitution was "undoing the Constitution." McEnany continues to peddle the outgoing President's lies that President-elect Biden's win is somehow unconfirmed or illegitimate.

In a recent interview with CNN's Brian Stelter, CNN anchor Jake Tapper noted that he would never book McEnany for an interview because of the effortlessness with which she lies.

Watch below.

When asked about the White House's obfuscation of the truth, Tapper said:

"There are some people that are so mendacious, I just wouldn't put them on air. Kayleigh McEnany, I never booked her. ... These are just people who tell lies the way that most people breathe. There was no value in that."

McEnany was none too pleased to see Tapper's answer, and lied about not lying in response.

People largely agreed with Tapper's assessment.

Tapper went on to contrast McEnany's statements with those of former White House counselor Kellyanne Conway's, whom Tapper said focused more on subject changes and evasion than outright lying.

This was the main point of contention among Twitter users regarding his statement.

McEnany's last day as press secretary is January 20th, when the Biden administration begins governing.

TikToker Speaks Out About Just How Difficult It Is To Get A Divorce In Mississippi—And Wow

While we're well into the 21st century, it's becoming increasingly difficult in the United States for women to execute what should be basic social rights, like getting a divorce. But states like Mississippi and most of the "Bible Belt" are making it practically impossible for people like Nurse Hadley Vlahos to fully separate from a former partner.

Though Vlahos is known on TikTok and YouTube for being a hospice nurse and wrote about end-of-life care in her New York Times bestselling book, The In-Between with How to Let Go to follow, she's now dedicating much more of her platform to documenting her three-year process of just filing for divorce, not including all that happened in the years before and in the year and a half since.

Trump's Bonkers Quip About What He'd Do If He Coached In The WNBA Just Resurfaced—And It's A Doozy

President Donald Trump is raising eyebrows again after a resurfaced clip showed him trying to bring NBA star LeBron James into the debate around transgender athletes while mocking the WNBA.

The WNBA has been at the center of controversy after Indiana Fever player Sophie Cunningham said she wants "to protect young girls in a locker room, or young girls in sport who shouldn’t have to go against biological men.” She called her beliefs "common sense," stressing that "it’s really important to protect children, and that’s little girls who are also involved in that category."
