Kayleigh Gets Brutal Reminder After Accusing Biden of 'Delaying' Aid to Ukraine

Kayleigh Gets Brutal Reminder After Accusing Biden of 'Delaying' Aid to Ukraine
Fox News

Former President Donald Trump's ex-White House press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, is getting blasted online for recent comments during an appearance on the conservative Fox News network.

McEnany was criticizing President Joe Biden's response to Russian President Vladimir Putin's recent invasion of Ukraine, accusing Biden of being too slow to provide Ukraine with military aid.

Watch below.

McEnany said on Fox's Outnumbered:

"Delay seems to be the modus operandi for this administration. Case in point, we're an hour and a half from the time at which the speech responding to [Ukrainian President Volodymyr] Zelenskyy was supposed to happen. Delay in response, delay in sanctions, delay in sending the [MiG fighter jets], delay in everything, and it just makes you wonder why we're supposed to be the leaders on the world stage."

How quickly she forgot.

Former President Donald Trump's first impeachment inquiry began in 2019, when the House began an investigation into a phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Zelenskyy. Just days after Trump directed an appointee of his at the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to freeze congressionally approved military aid to Ukraine, Trump urged Zelenskyy to open up an investigation into then-candidate Joe Biden and into debunked conspiracies about a Crowdstrike server.

The military aid was withheld for more than two months, and Acting U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine William Taylor testified that he received "desperate" calls from Ukrainian officials about its status. It wasn't until Politico published an article about the suspicious stall in funding that the aid was finally released.

McEnany may be forgetting (or willfully ignoring) Trump's record, but social media users aren't, and they're constantly reminding Republicans who make the same talking points as McEnany.

And they've slammed McEnany's most recent Fox appearance.

Following Zelenskyy's speech, Biden announced $800 million in new military aid to Ukraine.
