The Prince and Princess of Wales' official X account, formerly Twitter, shared a throwback photo of Middleton as a toddler in 1983—and people can't believe how much she looks like her youngest son.

A photo posted by the official X account of the Prince and Princess of Wales has people online doing a double take.

The photo posted on Monday is of the princess herself on Christmas Day in 1983, but fans had to look twice to make sure it wasn't actually a photo of her youngest son Louis.

The tweet was part of Shaping Us, a campaign led by the Princess of Wales that aims to raise awareness of the critical importance of early childhood.

It read:

"Sharing some festive memories this Christmas because #ShapingUs is all about the vital importance of our early years and the role played by those around us in shaping the rest of our lives."
