After witnessing a horse being hit by a rider and coach during the Tokyo Olympics, Kaley Cuoco offered to buy the horse in question.

Cuoco and millions of others witnessed equestrian, Annika Schleu and the coach of Germany's National Modern Pentathlon team, Kim Raisner, both strike Saint Boy.

The horse Schleu was assigned to ride refused to jump hurdles as part of the show jumping round of the women's modern pentathlon.

In the standard for the sport, Schleu was introduced to Saint Boy roughly twenty minutes before the competition. Modern pentathletes ride stock horses provided by the host country, not their own mount, during Olympic competition.

Schleu dissolved into tears over Saint Boy's unwillingness to jump. As a result, Schleu lost her 1st place position and finished 31st out of 36.

While the practice of having competitors not ride their own horses at the Olympics has been hotly contested, there was far more sympathy for Saint Boy over how he was treated than for Schleu.

Raisner's actions were not tolerated by the International Modern Pentathlon Union.

She was subsequently disqualified from the remainder of the Tokyo Olympic games according to an official statement shared on their Twitter page.

The statement declared Raisner had been given a "black card" upon reviewing video footage which captured her striking Saint Boy with her fist.

"Her actions were deemed to be in violation of the UIPM Competition Rules, which are applied to all recognized Modern Pentathlon competitions including the Olympic Games."

Raisner's actions were also not tolerated by Kaley Cuoco who is also an avid equestrian and is married to horse trainer Karl Cook.

As reported by People, Cuoco expressed her horror at witnessing Saint Boy being struck by Raisner and Schleu in a series of Instagram stories.

"I feel it's my duty and heart to comment on this disgrace."
"This is not Olympic show jumping. This is a disgusting, classless, abusive representation of our sport in so many ways. This team should be ashamed of themselves."
"You and your team did not do your country proud or this sport. You make us look bad, Shame on you and godspeed to any animal that comes in contact with you."

The Big Bang Theory star went on to call both Raisner and Schleu a "disgrace".

But most notably, Cuoco offered to buy Saint Boy, declaring:

"I'll buy that horse outright and show it the life it should have. Name your price."

As reported by The Huffington Post, Cuoco would later clarify in a news report on her offer to buy Saint Boy that she "wasn't kidding."

Cuoco's offer and impassioned words against cruelty to horses were both met with a high level of support on Twitter.

Saint Boy was one of many horses that balked during jumping events.

The course decor was cited by many as a contributing factor, especially a certain sumo statue.

Horses are prey animals and even the best trained horse can be spooked.

Equestrians cited several decorations on the course the horses may have considered threats.

The sumo was eventually removed from the course.

It remains to be seen if Saint Boy's owner has taken Cuoco up on her offer.

But Cuoco and Cook's admiration and knowledge of horses suggest Saint Boy would be in excellent hands should this offer become a reality.

Even Trump's NASA Director Had To Set Kim Kardashian Straight After She Said The Moon Landing 'Didn't Happen'

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy—who is also NASA's Acting Administrator—issued the weirdest fact-check ever when he corrected reality star Kim Kardashian after she revealed herself to be a moon landing conspiracist.

Conspiracy theorists have long alleged the moon landing was fabricated by NASA in what they claim was an elaborate hoax—and Kardashian certainly made it clear where she stands in a video speaking to co-star Sarah Paulson on the set of the new Hulu drama All’s Fair.

Special Olympics Fires Back At Kid Rock With Powerful Statement After He Used 'The R-Word' To Describe Halloween Costume

MAGA singer Kid Rock was called out by Loretta Claiborne, the Chief Inspiration Officer of the Special Olympics, after he used the "r-word"—a known ableist slur—to describe his Halloween costume this year.

Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, was speaking with Fox News host Jesse Watters when he donned a face mask and said he'd be going as a "r**ard" for Halloween. Watters had guessed he was dressed as Dr. Anthony Fauci, the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases who spearheaded the nation's COVID-19 pandemic response.
