As the fallout from his ill-conceived trip to Cancun in the middle of a crisis continues to engulf Republican Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, the shade being thrown in his direction has begun to pile up like the snow that has crippled the state he was elected to serve.

Among those dragging Cruz is country music superstar and Texan Kacey Musgraves, who created a droll and shady t-shirt that both puts the Senator in his place and raises money for the citizens he left behind to suffer in the cold.

The t-shirt, which reads "Cruzin for a Bruzin," will benefit multiple Texas charities.

Musgraves teased the t-shirt in a funny tweet earlier in the day on Thursday that also not so subtly took a swipe at Cruz.

According to Musgraves's website, the t-shirt, which goes for $29.99, will directly benefit several charitable organizations in the Lone Star State.

"The profits from this tee will directly support Texans in need: Feed The People Dallas, Casa Marianella, and the American Red Cross of Central & South Texas."

Which, it must be said, is seemingly far more than Senator Cruz has been doing for his constituents.

Cruz has drawn widespread rage for his handling of the disaster in his state—especially for flying to Cancun in the midst of the crisis—which has left millions of Texans without electricity, water or gas for heating. At least thirty people have died, and scores of people are facing energy bills in the tens of thousands of dollars in the wake of the winter storms.

Musgraves is an outspoken progressive who frequently uses her voice and her music to promote liberal causes like LGBTQ equality and cannabis legalization.

And her perfect troll of the Senator puts her in good company. In the wake of the firestorm, Cruz has been castigated and mocked by everyone from actor Seth Rogen, to former Democratic Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, to comedian Blair Erskine.

On Twitter, people were loving Musgraves's contribution to the Ted Cruz drag-fest and couldn't get their hands on her trolling t-shirt fast enough.

While conservatives are quick to claim Musgraves is just an entertainment elite picking on Cruz, Musgraves was born in Golden, Texas and attended school in Mineola, Texas. Cruz was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

After initially blaming his Cancun trip on his daughters, Cruz has since called it "obviously a mistake" and said "In hindsight, I wouldn't have done it."
