Julia Fox Just Came Out As A Lesbian In An Iconic Viral TikTok: 'So Sorry Boys'

The 'Uncut Gems' star casually joked about her sexuality on TikTok—and LGBTQ+ fans are all for it.

Actor and internet obsession Julia Fox found a new way to make the social media throngs adore her even more (as if that were even possible): by coming out of the closet.

It sure looks that way, at least, after a TikTok Fox posted in which she seemed to come out as a lesbian.

The video was in response to another creator's hot take on "lesbians with their boyfriends"—that is, "straight girls" who seem to hate the men they're with.

TikTok creator @emgwaciedawgie's take on the matter? Those straight girls are actually lesbians who just haven't come out yet. Fox stitched the video to confirm that, yep, that's a thing—and she knows from experience.

In her original TikTok, emgracedawg joked:

"I love when I see a lesbian with their boyfriend. It's like 'Aww, you hate that man.'"

Fox responded by stitching that part of the video and adding her own seemingly personal take:

"Hey, that was me. I was that lesbian. So sorry boys. Won't happen again."

The implication of course being that Fox was finally announcing that she's a lesbian, and no male suitors need bother with her anymore!

But given Fox's illustrious dating history, you kind of have to wonder—was that whole Kanye thing a sham the entire time? Who's to say, though Fox has said that the relationship was sexless. Ah-ha, a clue!

Her marriage to ex-husband Peter Artemiev, on the other hand, definitely had a bit more action; the pair welcomed son Valentino in 2021.

But more recently, Fox has intimated that she's been celibate, writing in a TikTok post back in May:

"2.5 years of celibacy and never been better tbh."

Perhaps that vow of chastity led her to an enlightenment about her sexuality?

Whatever the case, Fox's coming out TikTok has been met with a wave of excitement from her legion of LGBTQ+ fans, many of them referencing Charli XCX's Julia-centric "360" lyrics, naturally.

Fox's big announcement comes just days after she performed at the aptly named Brooklyn LGBTQ+ music festival and Pride party LadyLand alongside such queer icons as Bob the Drag Queen, Tinashe and the Queen Mother herself, Madonna. Now THAT'S how you do a splashy coming out!
