Joe Biden Hilariously Trolls Lauren Boebert In Her Own District For Voting Against Infrastructure Bill

As Joe Biden traveled to Lauren Boebert's Colorado district to announce hundreds of new jobs there, he criticized her in Biden fashion for opposing his infrastructure package.

Democratic President Joe Biden mocked far-right Colorado Representative Lauren Boebert in a speech held in her congressional district.

On Wednesday, Biden praised turbine company CS Wind on their recent announcement of expansion plans and the creation of hundreds of new jobs made possible through funding thanks to his administration's passing of the infrastructure bill.

The Bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act that he signed into law on November 15, 2021, has been repeatedly lambasted by Boebert.

Biden referred to Boebert as β€œone of the leaders of this extreme MAGA movement" and mentioned that she initially voted against the bill and later voted to repeal key parts of the law.

"(Boebert), along with every single Republican colleague, voted against the infrastructure law that made these investments in jobs possible and that's not hyperbole, that's a fact," said Biden at CS Wind's plant in Pueblo, Colorado.

After mentioning the Congresswoman's name, Biden–a devout Catholic–made the sign of the cross and elicited laughter from the crowd.

Here is a clip of him making the gesture that could be interpreted as either a blessing or protection from evil.

Biden continued saying of Boebert in his speech:

"She called this law a 'massive failure.'"
"You all know you're a part of a massive failure? Tell that to the 850 Coloradans that get new jobs in Pueblo CS Wind thanks to this law."
"Tell that to the local economy that's going to benefit from these investments."

He added:

β€œIt all sounds like a massive failure in thinking by the congresswoman and her colleagues.”

Social media users couldn't help but giggle over Biden's dig at the Congresswoman.

The clip also prompted criticism for Boebert.

In September, the gun-toting Congresswoman made headlines for being kicked out of a live musical performance of Beetlejuice for disruptive behavior–including vaping, filming the show, and getting all handsy with her male companion.

People didn't forget the incident.

Boebert was re-elected last year after narrowly defeating her Democratic challenger Adam Frisch, who is running for the seat once again in 2024.
