Jimmy Kimmel has released an emotional tribute to Bob Saget.

Comedian and late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel shared a tribute to honor his friend and fellow comedian Bob Saget, who passed away suddenly at the start of this week.

Saget was only 65 and his passing was unexpected, though police do not suspect foul play or drug use to be related to Saget's cause of death.

All of Hollywood has been in mourning for the beloved actor, who was most known as single father Danny Tanner in the hit 90s sitcom Full House and the recent reboot Fuller House.

In addition to his iconic acting role as the gentle father Danny Tanner, Saget was also an accomplished comedian, whose material often struck viewers as risqué and controversial.

Saget's co-stars, including Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen as well as John Stamos, have been singing Saget's praises since the tragic news of his passing broke on Sunday.

Kimmel and Saget had been long-time friends, so when Kimmel recorded a tribute for Saget he was, understandably, quite emotional.

Watch the video here:

At one point during the video, Kimmel, with tears in his eyes, said:

“I’m sorry, I taped this like 14 times."

Kimmel went on to describe his late friend in one word: sweet.

He said:

“Bob was the sweetest, he was the sweetest man, and the reason people wrote that is because it’s true."

Twitter is sympathizing with Kimmel over Saget's passing.

Kimmel also said that Saget was the kind of person who always had something nice to say about everyone he met.

He said:

“He had something funny to say about everything and nothing bad to say about anyone. Never."
"If there were people he didn’t like, he kept it to himself."

Kimmel then added:

“Unlike me, he was a good person.”

Labor Department Hit With Blunt Factcheck After Posting 'Godfather'-Style Meme To Boast About Trump

Similar to the AI-generated NFT trading cards then former Republican President Donald Trump produced of himself in 2022 for his MAGA minions to buy, the current Trump administration keeps depicting the POTUS as characters from movies or pop culture.

The latest Trump fantasy figure was shared by the Department of Labor (DOL) under Acting Secretary Keith Sonderling. Trump's original Labor Secretary, Lori Chavez-DeRemer, resigned in April during an internal investigation for misconduct and abuse of power.

Trump's State Department Just Mislabeled Every Country On A Map Of Africa At A Global Conference—And It's So Awkward

The State Department issued an apology after mislabeling every country on a map of Africa presented at a pre-conference in Rio de Janeiro ahead of the AIDS 2026 conference.

The error is all the more embarrassing because high-level African officials were in the audience. Emily Bass, an expert consultant for Physicians for Human Rights, who writes about the Trump administration's global health agenda on her Substack, said the map could not have been any more incorrect.

GOP Senator Epically Trolls Trump After Being Asked If Not Having To Run For Reelection Has Made Him 'More Independent' From The President

Republican Senator John Cornyn, who was primaried out by a Texas candidate who was backed by President Donald Trump, gave a revealing answer when asked whether his unwillingness to support confirming Todd Blanche as Attorney General is an example of him being more "independent" from the president.

Cornyn and his outgoing GOP colleague, North Carolina Senator Thom Tillis, are urging the Justice Department to revise its settlement with Trump to explicitly eliminate a proposed $1.8 billion "anti-weaponization" compensation fund.

Meghan McCain Speaks Out After Video Of Her Sparks Cruel Comments From Body-Shaming Trolls

When it comes to sensitive subjects, some people make derogatory comments instead of having a hard conversation, either to pivot the focus or to try to feel superior.

In a podcast episode from just over a week ago, "Mamdani's Talent Knows No Limitations," Meghan McCain openly praised New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani and said plainly that Republicans "would be in trouble" and "should be scared" if the possibility were to ever arise for him to be able to run for President.
