Jimmy Kimmel Hilariously Redoes Mother's Day Post After His Wife Takes Issue With His Photo Choice

The late night host made sure to share a photo of his wife Molly all glammed up after sharing a photo of her on Mother's Day 'in bed with wet hair and wearing reading glasses.'

Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel hilariously righted a wrong after learning a tough lesson about posting photos of family members without their consent.

Kimmel honored his wife, writer and producer Molly McNearney, with a sweet Mother's Day photo of her, their two children, and their family dog snuggled together at bedtime.

The 56-year-old host and executive producer of his eponymous talk show wrote in the Instagram caption:

"Happy Mother’s Day to the lady in the glasses and every great Mom."

Here's the adorable family photo.

While it's the thought that counts, it seems his unilateral photo decision wasn't the best idea.

Kimmel left the original photo up but followed with his "nuclear option," one of McNearney dressed to the nines, sans glasses, and basking in the sunset glow trickling in through the window.

He explained:

"So it turns out, one should check with his significant other before posting a photo of said other in bed with wet hair and wearing reading glasses."
"So now I have no choice but to employ the nuclear option: this photo of my beautiful, brilliant and glamorous wife shot by Mark Seliger."
"Happy Mothers Day Molly - we love you and appreciate the zillion things you do."

McNearney responded to the new post with, "Well now you've gone too far," followed by a heart emoji.

Social media users appreciated his do-over but admired McNearney's inherent beauty, regardless of the setting and appearance.

Kimmel and McNearney started dating in October 2009, got engaged in August 2012, and tied the knot in July 2013.

They have two kids together. Their daughter Jane was born in July 2014 and their second child, a son, William "Billy" John, was born on April 21, 2017.

MAGA Melts Down After 'Woke' Pope Leo Urges The World To 'Search Always For Peace'

MAGA followers were not happy with Pope Leo XIV and accused him of being "woke" after he, in remarks to reporters, implored "people of good will" to "search always for peace."

The Pope spoke out after President Donald Trump insisted that God supports his war on Iran and declared—before a provisional ceasefire was announced—that "a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again" ahead of a deadline to bomb Iran’s power plants and bridges that legal scholars and world leaders have said would constitute war crimes.

CNN Airs Montage Of Trump Praising Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens And Alex Jones After He Calls Them 'Losers' In Viral Rant

CNN aired a fitting montage after President Donald Trump launched a broad attack on several conservative media figures—Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones—accusing them of being “stupid,” attention-seeking, and out of step with his political movement.

Carlson urged U.S. military aides to refuse any orders involving the killing of Iranian civilians. Owens, formerly of Turning Point USA, condemned the administration as “satanic” and called on Congress to remove what she described as the “Mad King Trump.”
