After Zeta-Jones was photographed wearing the exact same purple Ungaro dress Simpson wore in 2005, Simpson had nothing but kind words for the Oscar winner.

Catherine Zeta-Jones was recently photographed in a gorgeous purple gown while out and about with hubby Michael Douglas in Portofino, Italy.

And many viewers of the pics were quick to point out that she was wearing the same Ungaro dress that Jessica Simpson wore 17 years ago.

Case in point:

Simpson wore the dress to VH1's Big in '05 awards show, where she actually won the "BIG Stylin'" award.

And the singer was nothing short of flattered that Zeta-Jones opted for the same 'fit, commenting on the Instagram comparison post:

"Sexy never goes out of style"

People on social media concurred.
