Lopez opened up about fan speculation that Affleck is unhappy during and interview on the Golden Globes red carpet with 'Entertainment Tonight,' noting that 'Ben is doing alright.'

Jennifer Lopez set the record straight once and for all about her husband Ben Affleck's mental well-being.

Her reassurance that he was fine came amidst perpetual online speculation that the director and actor was not doing well, based on social media's obsession with the viral memes portraying him as "bored" or "sad."

Lopez attended Sunday night's Golden Globe Awards ceremony to support her husband, whose movie Air was nominated for Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy.

On the red carpet before the awards ceremony, Lopez addressed Affleck's maudlin paparazzi expressions when Entertainment Tonight host Kevin Frazier asked why people were always so "worried about what face Ben has on."

Affleck was not by her side at the time of the inquiry.

The upbeat Shotgun Wedding actor replied, laughing:

“Ben is doing alright. You don’t need to worry about Ben, let me just tell you."
"He is good, and he is happy. He is here. He is nominated."

She added:

“He is like, ‘I’m chilling.’ I don’t understand what people are pressed for."

Here is a clip of the interview.

However, skeptical fans were unconvinced and responded sarcastically in the comments.

Others felt validated for what they've suspected all along.

And Bennifer stans suggested people get off the couple's backs.

Despite all the teasing based on how the couple is portrayed in the media, J-Lo and Ben are still quite smitten with each other as witnessed at the Globes.

Several videos of them adoring each other were shared online.

The pair rekindled their romance after calling off their relationship back in 2004.

They met on the set of Gigli and began dating in 2002. But it wasn't the right time as things went south in 2003, leading them to postpone their wedding.

After going their separate ways, Lopez married Latin singer Marc Anthony in June 2004 and had fraternal twins, a boy and a girl, four years later. However, the couple broke up in 2011, and their divorce was finalized in June 2014. She retained primary custody of their children.

In 2005, Affleck married Jennifer Garner and they had three children together. They publicly announced their separation in 2015 and jointly filed for divorce in April 2017 which was finalized in October 2018.

On April 8, 2022, Lopez announced her second engagement to Affleck, 20 years after his first proposal.

They tied the knot in a private ceremony held in Las Vegas on July 16, 2022, which was followed by a wedding celebration with family and friends in August.

In her newsletter, Lopez wrote:

“We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient.”

Mrs. Jennifer Lynne Affleck added:

"They were right when they said, 'all you need is love.' We are so grateful to have that in abundance, a new wonderful family of five amazing children, and a life that we have never had more reason to look forward to."
"Love is a great thing, maybe the best of things-and worth waiting for."

Memes be damned. We wish them nothing but happiness.

Awkward Typo In Elon Musk's Bizarre 'Education Department' Trump Meme Is A Total Self-Own

Billionaire Elon Musk was widely mocked after he celebrated President Donald Trump's executive order to begin to dismantle the Department of Education (DOE) by posting a meme of Trump at the department's grave, only for an awkward misspelling to get all the attention.

Polling indicates that eliminating the Education Department is largely unpopular, with 60% of registered voters opposing the move, according to a Quinnipiac University survey conducted March 6-10. Support stands at 33%, with opposition particularly strong among Democrats—98% oppose it, while just 1% support it.

People Break Down How They Realized An Entire Industry Was A Total Scam

We unfortunately live in a world where scams are on the rise.

Thankfully, some of them are pretty easy to detect, such as an automated call from the IRS telling you a warrant is out for your arrest, or an email claiming to be from Amazon or the USPS asking for your credit card information, only to look closer and see the email address is a yahoo account.
