After Twitter user @JoyAnnReid called out former President Trump's supporters for "worshipping" Trump in a sacrilegious way, one of Trump's former lawyers, Jenna Ellis, attempted to claim "literally no one worships Trump."

Twitter was quick to show Ellis how very, very wrong she was.

There were about a million examples of Trump's supporters worshipping him online.

Trump himself has even made several allusions to his own divine status.

In the eyes of his supporters, President Trump will forever be the "chosen one."

Jenna Ellis might not know Trump's supporters as well as she thought she did.

Ellis may have been confident in her claim but Twitter, as always, had the receipts to bring the truth to light.
