An Artist Painted A Nearly 400lb Pumpkin To Look Like Taylor Swift—And It's Impressive

Artist Jeanette Paras showed off her 'Taylor SwiftKin' pumpkin, which weighs in at 399 lbs, including a time-lapse video of her creation.

It's almost Halloween which of course means one thing—it's pumpkin-carving time. For most of us, that means a trip to the pumpkin patch and cute or scary face cut into the gourd we chose.

But for Jeanette Paras, an artist from Columbus, Ohio, it means painting a masterpiece on the side of a pumpkin that looks exactly like Taylor Swift. Oh and also the pumpkin is ginormous and weighs just shy of 400 lbs.

The artist shared her Spooky Season creation—called Taylor SwiftKin, naturally—on Instagram.

Creating a giant celebrity pumpkin is a tradition for Paras, and she's been teasing who this year's might be all month long. In her caption, she wrote:

"Meet Taylor SwiftKin! A gorgeous 399 lb. #giantcelebritypumpkin who is the answer to #whowillitbe in 2023."
"Everyone who guessed #taylorswift - you were right! And see if you can spot the nod to her romantic interest in the display."

The nod, of course, is the football and #87 from Kansas City Chiefs tight end and Swift romantic interest Travis Kelce. Well played, Ms. Paras, packing in those Easter eggs just like Taylor herself.

Taylor SwiftKin depicts Swift in her red carpet look from the 2023 Grammys at which she won Best Music Video for All Too Well: The Short Film. She's already getting Grammy buzz for her 1989 (Taylor's Version) release, so Paras may need to do Taylor SwiftKin Part 2—maybe this time with a pumpkin that weighs 1989 pounds?

Anyway, Paras' also posted a time-lapse video that condensed the more than 10 hours it took to paint Taylor SwiftKin into just 58 seconds, and it really shows how much work went into this Halloween sensation.

And on social media, people were really impressed with Taylor SwiftKin, especially Swift's devoted Swifties.

Paras has done everyone from Kim Kardashian to Baby Yoda in pumpkin form over the years, but it seems like Taylor SwiftKin will be the favorite for years to come.
