Last week, the internet went wild when Jason Momoa revealed that he shaved off his luscious locks, explaining to fans:
"I'm tired of these plastic bottles."
"We gotta stop. Plastic forks, all that sh*t. It just goes into our land. It goes into our ocean."
"I'm here in Hawai'i right now and just seeing things in our ocean—it's just so sad."
"So please, anything you can do to eliminate single-use plastics in your life, help me. Help me. Plastic bottles are ridiculous."
He also quipped:
"Ooh, man! I've never even felt the wind right there."
Now, of course, we're wondering if he was also making room for new art.
Momoa posted a video on Instagram yesterday in which he showed off his latest tattoo while boarding a flight to New Zealand.
In the video, he said:
"I got something special for you."
He then removed his hat and revealed the new tat.
See the video below:
As expected, his fans went wild over the new ink:

At the end of the video, Momoa also said, "Chief of War is coming, baby," referencing the new eight-episode limited series about the post-apocalyptic unification and colonization of Hawaii. Momoa is also a writer and executive producer on the show, which will air on Apple TV+.
