The Oscar winnner has been hospitalized for 3 weeks after suffering a medical emergency while filming a new movie in Atlanta.

Last month, we learned through Jamie Foxx's daughter Corinne via Instagram that the actor suffered a "medical complication" while in Atlanta for his film Back in Action.

While Jamie has remained in the hospital since the April 11 emergency, he did finally break his silence on Instagram, thanking fans for support.

His post read:

"Appreciate all the love!!!"
"Feeling blessed"

Due to Foxx's current condition as he continues to recover, he has been replaced as host of the interactive hit song gameshow Beat Shazam. Corrine, who usually hosts the show alongside her father is also not returning for the new season, according to TMZ, to be with him in Atlanta.

Beat Shazam made a statement on Instagram that revealed:

"Nick Cannon has offered to fill in as guest host for his friends, Jamie and Corinne Foxx."

They added:

"Kelly Osbourne will be filling in as guest DJ."

The post finished:

"Everyone at FOX Entertainment wishes Jamie well as he continues his recovery, and we greatly appreciate Nick's willingness to jump in and help this summer."

Foxx himself even thanked Cannon for stepping in.

Through Corinne's Instagram story, he shared Beat Shazam's post to his own stories, adding:

"Appreciate ya my boy @nickcannon"
"See u all soon 🦊❤️"

People on social media continued to send their well wishes as Foxx continues to recover.

We are grateful for the update and are sending our positive thoughts as he continues to recover.
