James Corden's Parents Watching 'Game Of Thrones' For The First Time Ever Goes Hilariously Off The Rails

HBO's Game of Thrones returned on Sunday, April 14 for its final season, to considerable applause from fans around the world.

The first episode of the show's final season, "Winterfell" gave us the usual diet of sex and violence that we've grown accustomed to after years of watching (not to say this necessarily detracts from the story)!

Keep in mind that we're already eight seasons into one of the most critically acclaimed television shows of all time, which makes it all the more hilarious that Late Late Show host James Corden had his parents watch the show now for the very first time... and their reactions were priceless.

Malcolm and Margaret Corden, who live in High Wycombe in the UK, watched "Winterfell" and had absolutely no idea what was going on. Margaret thought that a mention of Sansa Stark (played by Sophie Turner) was, in fact, a reference to Santa.

When Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Daenerys proceed to make out––all the incest you could ever want from a Game of Thrones episode––in front of a waterfall, Malcolm comments:

"Yeah that was like us two growing up in front of the snowy waterfalls of... Bedfordshire. But I didn't have a dragon to lure you away with. I just had a Vauxhall Viva."

When Samwell Tarly (John Bradley) shows up, Margaret notes the resemblance to her son.

"God, he looks a bit like James when he was younger," she says, prompting her husband to respond:

"I reckon if he auditioned for this show he could play that role. Instead of poncing about in Los Angeles. Get some decent work."

Oh, and did we mention the shock Margaret exhibits when they see Bronn (Jerome Flynn) having sex with several prostitutes?

These two are too good and too pure for this world, and now they have a host of fans who can't get enough of them.

We hope these two continue watching the rest of the season, because five more weeks of their reactions would truly cement 2019's status as an amazing year all around.
