Jameela Jamil Shows Off Her 'Babe Marks' In Powerful Post About Skin Positivity

The Good Place actress and beloved internet icon Jameela Jamil took to social media on April 1st to stand up for people of all different kind's natural skin.

On Instagram, Jamil wrote about how stretch marks were nothing to be ashamed of:

"Boob stretch marks are a normal, beautiful thing. I have stretch marks all over my body and I hereby rename them all Babe Marks. They are a sign my body dared to take up extra space in a society that demands our eternal thinness. They are my badge of honour for resisting society's weaponizing of the female form. ❤️ ps. My face is white because I wear spf 100 sunscreen like a boss. 🤓 PS. LOVE YOUR BROWN SKIN. I tan responsibly but I love to tan! I love to embrace and celebrate my heritage. This skin bleaching and whitening should be banned. It's inherently racist, classist and emotionally very damaging."

Jamil is sick of people feeling ashamed of their skin when all different kinds look beautiful!

She even came up with a new name for stretch marks: Babe Marks!

Twitter loved her suggestion.

Many Twitter users felt comforted by Jamil's message.

Why be ashamed when you could be proud of your body?!

Freckles aren't something to get rid of!

People online were in love with Jamil for her bravery and frankness.

All types of skin are beautiful, and there's no reason to be ashamed of the body you were born with.

Thanks for reminding us of that, Jameela!

This isn't the first time Jameela spoke about body positivity. Jamil is always promoting self confidence and healthy habits, even battling with the Kardashians over their harmful weight loss endorsements.

Jameela Jamil is the role model we've all been waiting for!

Awkward Typo In Elon Musk's Bizarre 'Education Department' Trump Meme Is A Total Self-Own

Billionaire Elon Musk was widely mocked after he celebrated President Donald Trump's executive order to begin to dismantle the Department of Education (DOE) by posting a meme of Trump at the department's grave, only for an awkward misspelling to get all the attention.

Polling indicates that eliminating the Education Department is largely unpopular, with 60% of registered voters opposing the move, according to a Quinnipiac University survey conducted March 6-10. Support stands at 33%, with opposition particularly strong among Democrats—98% oppose it, while just 1% support it.

People Break Down How They Realized An Entire Industry Was A Total Scam

We unfortunately live in a world where scams are on the rise.

Thankfully, some of them are pretty easy to detect, such as an automated call from the IRS telling you a warrant is out for your arrest, or an email claiming to be from Amazon or the USPS asking for your credit card information, only to look closer and see the email address is a yahoo account.
