Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey is facing internet backlash after he was spotted eating at Chick-fil-A this past Saturday.

As LGBT Americans celebrate Pride throughout the month of June, scores of Twitter users expressed outrage over the weekend after Dorsey tweeted a "Boost" he received on the Cash App after paying for a meal at Chick-fil-A.

For years, the fast food company has been slammed for being an outspoken opponent of LGBT rights and marriage equality. Many people, including members of the press, perceived Dorsey's tweet as insensitive, given that June is Pride Month.

"Why is Twitter boosting a notoriously anti-gay company during #PrideMonth and an outspokenly Christian company during #Ramadan?" tweeted investigative journalist Victoria Brownworth.

Raw Story's Sarah Burris referred to Chick-fil-A's food as "hate chicken."

"On behalf of the whole LGBTQ community, Jack, kindly boost your head out of your ass," producer Adam Goldman said.

But it was Soledad O'Brien's tweet that caught Dorsey's attention. Dorsey said he "completely forgot" about Chick-fil-A's background.

Dorsey has also come under fire for banning HBO producer David Simon from Twitter, after Simon wished death upon Trump supporters via the site last Friday.
