Today while guest co-hosting Kathie Lee and Hoda, folk-pop singer Ingrid Michaelson made the announcement that she will be penning the score to The Notebook the Musical, based on the book by Nicholas Sparks and which spawned the movie that starred Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams. The book will be written by Bekah Brunstetter, a supervising producer for the hit television show This is Us and playwright of The Cake, which begins previews at the Manhattan Theatre Club on February 12 and opens March 5.

The musical will be produced by Kevin McCollum and Kurt Deutsch along with Sparks and does not yet have an announced production timeline... but besides all that, fans are already casting the talent for their dream The Notebook the Musical cast. Some are even hoping for a role reprisal of Gosling, who starred in the musical La La Land, which won in every category for which it was nominated at the 74th Golden Globe Awards.

Who would you like to see in the roles of Noah Calhoun and Allie Hamilton? Jeremy Jordan? Taylor Louderman? What memorable scenes are you hoping to be turned into musical numbers?

He reiterated his reasoning that owning Greenland is crucial to domestic and international security, dismissing the fact the territory is under the control of a key ally.

On Tuesday, MAGA Republican President Donald Trump held another unhinged press conference that didn't help the White House's claims that Trump isn't cognitively impaired.

Among the topics the POTUS ranted and rambled about were Somalian immigrants, insane asylums, Don Lemon, his mother's assessment of his baseball prowess, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and Greenland.

Ted Cruz's Team Responds To Backlash After He's Spotted On Flight Out Of Texas As State Braces For Winter Storm

Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz's team was forced to respond to criticisms after he was photographed on a flight to California on Tuesday as Texas prepares for an arctic cold front and potentially severe winter storm conditions—events that are reminding people of Cruz's now-infamous trip to Cancún.

Political strategist Shea Jordan Smith shared an image of Cruz taken on January 20 that shows him "on a plane heading to Laguna Beach as the state of Texas braces for a rare ice threat and arctic cold front."
