Though we're in the second half of 2022, we apparently need to keep discussing the matter of what clothes a woman puts on her body, and how that choice is not an invitation to physically assault her.
In a video that's since gone viral, Daisy DeLacroix, of @daisydelacroix1 on TikTok, showed how a man approached her unprompted.
DeLacriox typically posted more lighthearted content on her TIkTok about her work as an OnlyFans creator and a bikini barista.
In this video, however, the man comes down an aisle and appears to look around for other people before he walks up behind DeLacroix, touches either her hip or butt and whispers something in her ear.
DeLaCroix wrote in a text overlay on the video:
"Today after work, I was grocery shopping, and as you can see in this video, this man walks up from behind, touches my butt, and whispers in my ear, 'What's up, baby?'"
"I was in complete shock. Ladies, please be careful of your surroundings. I did not know this man, and he tried to play it off."
DeLaCroix further urged women in the caption of the video:
"I can't stress this enough to please be aware of your surroundings."

A few tried to pin the blame on DeLacroix for what she was wearing, to which she responded:
"I'll leave this here since some of you men are outright disgusting in these comments."
"I'm wearing a crop top and biker shorts, it's men like you who are the problem. And that's just scary!"
Some supported DeLacroix for this comment.
Not even nudity is an open invitation to assault.

In another video, DeLacroix was making coffee in one of her bikini barista outfits, with this text overlayed:
"Just because women choose to show skin will never make it okay to ever sexually assault women. It will never make it okay to grab any women, just because of our bodies."
"Learn self control. It's disgusting how some of you think it's okay to touch a woman just because she is showing skin!"
While a woman might be beautiful to look at, how she presents herself is not an invitation.
The sooner everyone accepts that, the better.
