A railroad worker from India is a hero after making a train-tracks save worthy of an action movie.

Mayur Shelkhe, of Mumbai, was shown on video getting a 6-year-old child off the track just seconds before a train came speeding through the station.

The Indian Ministry of Railways released the video over social media, which is when Shelkhe went viral.

They wrote:

"We salute his exemplary courage & utmost devotion to the duty."

They shared another video of Shelkhe humbly receiving the accolades of his coworkers and railway officials.

Shelkhe said to The Hindustan Times:

"I ran towards the child but also thought that I might be in danger too."
"Still, I thought I should save him."

The woman who was with the child was reported to be visually impaired and unable to help the child, but thanked Shelkhe "a lot" after the child was safe.

Shelkhe is being widely heralded as a hero.

News station ANI said of Shelkhe:

"There is nothing bigger than saving lives."

Minister Piyush Goyal also praised Shelkhe, saying "Shelkhe's work cannot be compared to any prize or money, but he will be rewarded for inspiring humanity with his work."

A six-year-old child is still alive today because of his selfless act.

Kyrsten Sinema And Joe Manchin Give Dems And Labor Unions The Middle Finger With Vote

Outgoing Independent senators Kyrsten Sinema (Arizona) and Joe Manchin (West Virginia) gave Democrats and labor unions the middle finger by siding with Republicans to oppose confirming President Joe Biden's renomination of Lauren McFerran for the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), which will let President-elect Donald Trump seize control of the board next year.

NLRB is the federal agency responsible for safeguarding employees’ workplace rights. Sinema and Manchin's decisive “no” votes doomed the nomination, as all Senate Republicans also opposed it. Only one of their votes was needed to secure McFerran’s confirmation.
