But after watching a full interview of just the two of them gushing about their friendship, viewers could barely handle all the adorableness.

Reynolds and Jackman's friendship started back in 2008 when Reynolds was hired to portray Wade Wilson (ya know, Deadpool) in 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

During the interview, Reynolds revealed that Jackman welcomed him with open arms, and the rest was history.

Swoon.

Later in the interview, the two spoke in detail about the "secret sauce" behind their lasting friendship.

Reynolds claimed it's not too different from having a partner or even from marriage, noting:

"Since the day I met Hugh Jackman... I am genuinely rooting for you every time all the time."
"I want you to win and I know you to be a person that often puts others in front of yourself, and it's not a show."
"I see you do it in quiet, I see you do it out loud, I see you do it in every instance, and I think of you a little bit as this guy that kind of like will grab the ticking time bomb and fly into the atmosphere into space and let it explode, and, you know, save all the people on the ground."

He continued:

"I so admire those qualities in you and love that in you."
"And since the day we met in Sydney, I root for you, and I just want to see you live the most full-throated life that you can possibly live."

He added that it's the same way he feels about his wife, Blake Lively.

After thanking Reynolds for his absolutely lovely take, Jackman said he agreed, explaining friendship, to him, is having someone he can say absolutely anything to: "the stuff you're ashamed, embarrassed, anything."

"So you can tell me anything and I can tell you anything, and I don't feel like you're going to be judging or necessarily giving me the answer: ‘Do this.’ And I think that has been the key.”

Jackman added:

“And ever since I've known you, and I would say in particular in like the last five, 10 years, we've had more time where we go for our walks because you're an unbelievable listener."

He continued:

"I guess I hadn't put it together."
"Deep down, I know you're rooting for me, and you know I'm rooting for you."
"So you can tell me anything, and I can tell you anything. And I don't feel like you're going to be judging it or necessarily giving me the answer."

Reynolds chimed in:

"Yeah, we rely on each other for the real kind of advice that you want, you know?"

Viewers of the interview loved seeing the real conversation between the two, many adding that this type of connection and interaction needs to be normalized between males.

Gavin Newsom Shames Trump For 'Politicizing' Los Angeles Fires In Powerful Clip

After President-elect Donald Trump spread lies about the ongoing Los Angeles wildfires, blaming California Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom for the destruction, Newsom addressed the matter on CNN, telling Anderson Cooper that Trump "wanted to politicize" the disaster even as people flee and lose their lives.

Deadly wildfires in Los Angeles County remain largely uncontained, with officials reporting at least five confirmed fatalities so far. However, on Thursday, authorities admitted, “frankly, we don’t know” the true extent of the death toll. Evacuation orders are currently affecting nearly 180,000 residents, as thousands of homes and buildings have been destroyed.
