On Tuesday's edition of Sirius XM's The Howard Stern Show, noted shock-jock Howard Stern lashed out at those who have refused to get vaccinated against Covid-19, accusing them of prolonging the ongoing pandemic.

You can hear his remarks in the audio below.

Stern began by mocking the slew of anti-vaxx conservative radio hosts who've succumbed to the virus.

"It's really funny when these radio, the radio guys are the best, they're like four of them [who've] died, four of them who were like, ranting on the air."
"They will not get vaccinated."
"They were they were on fire, these guys, it was like day after day, they were all dying and then their dying words are 'I wish I had been more into the vaccine, I wish I had taken it.'"

Indeed, at least four prominent radio hosts have died of Covid-19 last few weeks.

These include Marc Bernier, a prominent conservative voice on Daytona, Florida talk radio who once referred to himself as "Mr. Anti-Vaxx," and Dick Farrel, who'd not only worked with but died mere weeks before Bernier.

After playing a clip of Bernier announcing he would not get the vaccine, Stern pointed out vaccine mandates are nothing new.

"I'll tell you what, far as I remember, when I went to school, you had to get a measles vaccine, you had to get a mumps vaccine, you had to get, it was a ton of them."

For Stern, a nationwide vaccine mandate makes total sense.

He further stressed the unvaccinated pose a risk to society and expressed his anger at still having to deal with lockdown measures because of a minority who've willfully restricted the freedom of others.

"When are we going to stop putting up with the idiots in this country and just say, you know, it's mandatory to get vaccinated?"
"F*** them, f*** their freedom."
"I want my freedom to live."
"I want to get out of the house already. I want to go next door and play chess. I want to go take some pictures."

Many concurred with Stern's statements, saying they are equally exhausted by dealing with the unvaccinated.

Stern's criticisms bring to mind similar ones from actor and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, who last month said "screw your freedom" in blistering remarks directed at anti-vaxxers.

Schwarzenegger called on Americans to put aside their political differences, listen to medical professionals and public health experts, wear masks and get vaccinated.

He also pointed out there are plenty of things people do every single day to protect themselves and other people, such as respecting traffic laws while driving.

"You cannot just say, 'I have the right to do x, y, and z,' when you affect other people. That is when it gets serious."
"It's like, no different than a traffic light. They put the traffic light in the intersection so someone doesn't kill someone else by accident."
"You cannot say, 'No one is going to tell me that I'm going to stop here, I'm going to go right through it.' Yeah, then you kill someone else."
"It is the same thing with the virus."

Yesterday, President Joe Biden announced sweeping Covid-19 vaccination requirements.

He expressed his frustration with the 25% of eligible Americans who have not yet gotten a vaccine.

"We've made vaccinations free, safe and convenient. The vaccine has FDA approval. Over 200 million Americans have gotten at least one shot."
"We've been patient. But our patience is wearing thin. And your refusal has cost all of us. So please, do the right thing."

The President's order will affect roughly 100 million Americans.

It will include a vaccine mandate for all federal workers and contractors, in addition to a requirement that large companies must mandate vaccines or regular testing for employees.
