Hillary Mocks Fox News for Mentioning Her 100 Times in One Day Instead of Trump Deposition

It's been more than five years since former Secretary of State and Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Rodham Clinton lost the 2016 election to former President Donald Trump, but the conservative Fox News network is still obsessed with the private citizen.

In a recent court filing from Special Counsel John Durham, who was appointed by then-Attorney General William Barr to investigate the origins of the FBI's probe into the Trump campaign's contacts with Russia, Durham accused cybersecurity lawyer Michael Sussmann of lying to the FBI about who he represented when he came forward to investigators about communications between a Trump Tower server and the IP Address of a Russian-linked bank. The information was legally accessed by tech investigators hired by the government to investigate after Russia launched a malware attack on the White House network.

Sussmann was representing the tech firm conducting the investigation, Neustar, but was also representing the Clinton campaign. Durham has charged Sussmann with lying to authorities for claiming he was bringing the information to the FBI on behalf of Neustar, when Durham claims Sussmann was acting on behalf of Neustar and the Clinton campaign.

None of the tech investigators who legally accessed the server documents have been charged with a crime and Sussmann's charge has nothing to do with cyber crimes. Nevertheless, Fox News has spent days lying that Hillary Clinton's campaign paid operatives to "infiltrate" servers in Trump Tower.

They've also been obsessed with teasing a potential Clinton presidential run in 2024, though there is absolutely no evidence that Clinton intends to run for President a third time, especially if it would require a primary against Democratic incumbent Joe Biden, who's repeatedly said he intends to run for reelection.

According to journalist Aaron Rupar, Fox News mentioned Hillary Clinton more than 100 times on Thursday—the same day a New York Supreme Court Judge ruled that former President Donald Trump and two of his children must sit for depositions regarding the New York Attorney General's criminal probe into widespread fraud at the Trump Organization.

The network only mentioned that ruling twice.

Clinton herself soon weighed in, saying Fox News was giving its "game" away.

Presumably the game Clinton refers to is the conservative network's constant focus on imaginary crimes Clinton committed, rather than very real evidence of crimes and scandals committed by Trump.

People agreed with her assessment.

Some hope Clinton will bring a defamation suit against the network.

Fox is already embroiled in multiple defamation lawsuits for promoting conspiracy theories about the validity of the 2020 election.
