The actor revealed her favorite moment involving her 'A Cinderella Story' co-star and some salmon on 'Watch What Happens Live.'

White Lotus star Jennifer Coolidge is really—finally—having a moment.

In just six months the actor won two of Hollywood's highest honors, the Golden Globe and Emmy, for her role as spacey Tanya McQuoid in HBO's White Lotus and is poised to snatch another at the February 26 Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Between her eccentric characters and her even more eccentric persona, some might assume Coolidge is putting on her quirky persona.

But if a story fellow actor Hilary Duff recently told is any indication, Coolidge comes by her eccentricity very, very honestly.

During a recent appearance on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live, the How I Met Your Father star took a question from a viewer who wanted to know what her favorite part was of working with Coolidge in the 2004 film A Cinderella Story.

And, well, suffice to say it was downright weird—in the best and most vintage Coolidge way possible.

Hear Duff recount the tale below.

Duff told the viewer:

“My favorite moment was her rubbing salmon on her face while filming ‘A Cinderella Story,’ and talking about the omegas."

We presume "omegas" refers to salmon's high content of healthy omega fatty acids, but part of what makes it a great story is that when it comes to Coolidge, "omegas" could mean absolutely anything.

Anyway, it turns out the moment made such an impression that even Duff's toddler son's eating habits reminds her of Coolidge.

She went on to say:

"My son actually started eating sushi when he was 3 and had a similar moment, and I looked and was like, ‘You’re just rubbing raw salmon on your face.'"
"And it was soft and he liked it and it reminded me of her."

Aww...

Duff's fans were loving her appearance on Watch What Happens Live, especially those diehard fans who miss her former pop music career and her star-making Disney series Lizzie McGuire.

And of course there was no shortage of love for Jennifer Coolidge and her new project, the Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel romcom Shotgun Wedding, in which she reprises her greatest White Lotus talent—comedically shooting a gun.

Duff definitely shares the love for Coolidge—salmon or no.

She went on to tell Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen:

"She’s always been a lovely human being but I’m really proud to see her moment."
"I think it just reminds me that being in this industry, I feel so lucky that anything can happen at any stage."

And anything can happen when you're working with Coolidge, that's for sure.
