Harrison Ford Accidentally Interrupted Costar Jessica Williams' SAG Awards Moment In Hilarious Fashion

Williams was just starting her speech about being an actor at the top of the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday when her Shrinking costar, Ford, realized he'd put some food in his mouth right behind her at the wrong time.

Comedic actor Jessica Williams hilariously reacted when her Shrinking co-star Harrison Ford inadvertently tele-bombed her Screen Actors Guild Awards moment.

It happened during Williams' “I Am An Actor" segment in which different actors sitting at their tables regale SAG Awards viewers and attendees about their respective beginnings in Hollywood.


"Los Angeles is known as the City of Dreams," said the former senior correspondent on The Daily Show.

"And sure enough, all of my dreams have come true here…"

However, as the actor was about to cite examples, Ford was seen shoving what looked like a tortilla chip into his mouth as he turned away from the table to look at one of the large screens that showed a closeup of Williams.

Spotting Ford's unplanned cameo from her peripheral vision, Williams stopped her anecdotal moment and laughed at her clueless colleague breaking the unspoken rule about stealing the spotlight.

“I told him to turn away!” Williams yelled, laughing over the mishap.

Ford, who immediately turned away from the camera, was jokingly reprimanded by Williams, who scolded, "Don't look!"

Fellow attendees howled over their rapport.

After Williams wrapped up her moment to shine, stating, "I am Jessica Williams, I'm LA-born-and-bred, and I am an actor," her mischievous co-star gave jazz hands behind her head, prompting Williams to jostle him as they both laughed.

Fans loved seeing their fun coworker chemistry.







Shrinking is a comedy series on Apple+ that centers on Jimmy, a grieving therapist played by Jason Segel, who breaks ethical protocols by being a part of patients' lives and brings about dramatic changes affecting them and those around him.

In the show, Williams plays Gaby, a fellow therapist working at the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Center.

Ford, who was up for a SAG Award for Male Actor in a Comedy Series, plays Dr. Paul Rhoades, a senior therapist working at the same clinic, who has Parkinson's disease.

Ford lost out to Martin Short for Only Murders in the Building, which also beat Shrinking for Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
