When Steph went off to college, she left her hometown hamster in the care of her Dad, who quickly became quite attached to the little rodent.
Which was all well and good...until the hamster escaped.
Veerman shared screenshots of her father's terrified text updates to amuse people all over the internet.
This dad, a lawyer, was having the worst day of his life.
He went to pretty extreme lengths to try and track the poor creature down.
Fortunately, before long, the prized hamster was recovered!
