After Donald Trump tried to slam Joe Biden with a complaint that sounds exactly like himself, Mark Hamill had the perfect Star Wars-themed comeback.

After former President Donald Trump tried to slam President Joe Biden with a self-own for the ages, legendary Star Wars actor Mark Hamill had the perfect comeback.

Trump was jeered and booed by audience members at the Libertarian Party National Convention over the weekend—particularly when he took the following shot at Biden:

“Don’t allow the worst president in the history of our country to come back and do the final destruction of America.”

You can hear what Trump said in the video below.

That warning could have easily applied to Trump, who recently finished last in a presidential ranking survey as part of the Presidential Greatness Project, which compiled responses from scholars across multiple disciplines whose work engages presidential politics. Biden by comparison was ranked much higher, coming in at 14th out of 46 presidents (with Abraham Lincoln taking the top spot).

Shortly after the footage of Trump's remark went viral, Hamill responded with the following Star Wars-themed comeback:

"The Self-Own Is Strong With This One!'

You can see what Hamill wrote below.

People couldn't help but agree with Hamill's assessment of Trump's statement about "the worst president in history."

Many on the right have a special disdain for Hamill, an outspoken liberal activist who has made headlines for criticizing Trump and the GOP on a regular basis.

Last month, Hamill was attacked by Trump fans after mocking Trump's history of verbal flubs. Hamill said Trump's "frequent verbal catastrophes" make it difficult to take the former president seriously when he spends considerable time recovering from his own gaffes.

Hamill has also jabbed Trump over claims he would present evidence of election fraud. After Trump—who has failed to present any evidence to support his "Big Lie" that the 2020 election was stolen from him—Hamill teased Trump's suggestion that there is an "irrefutable report" that will exonerate him.
