American singer, songwriter, and actress, Halsey, had to set some folks straight on what it means to be bisexual.

After posting a photo of herself on the cover of Paper Magazinecelebrating Pride, Halsey was disappointed some people fell back on old stereotypes that a bisexual person stops being bisexual once they get in a heteronormative relationship.

She captioned the original post with:

Happy #NationalComingOutDay! ya girl is #OutAndProud. Here's a throwback of me covering @papermagazine's PRIDE Issue! One of the 🏳️🌈proudest🏳️🌈 moments of my life!

It didn't take long for people to start questioning her sexuality because she is dating rapper G-Eazy.

Halsey posted a message to clear things up about bisexuality.

Luckily, many more people showed Halsey love rather than ignorance or hate.
