People Are Saying Halsey's Natural Hair 'Looks Like A Wig'—And She's Over It

Singer Halsey has been getting some flack on Twitter when she unveiled her new hairstyle—natural curls she's been growing out for the better part of a year. Apparently, many people think her real hair looks like a wig. The singer put all these people in their place pretty quickly.

Halsey has sported many different hairstyles over the years, ranging from the bright and colorful, to the simple and low-key.

Now, however, Halsey is debuting her natural curls!

Some people on Twitter loved the new look.

To grow the hair to this length, Halsey had to keep it under a wig for a year.

But now that the wigs are off, many are claiming her real hair looks more like a wig than the wigs did!

Which is, of course, ridiculous.

Halsey also recently expressed frustrations over the limited hair-care choices available in most hotels, saying in a now-deleted tweet:

I've been traveling for years now and it's been so frustrating that the hotel toiletry industry entirely alienates people of color. I can't use this perfumed watered down white people shampoo. Neither can 50% of ur customers. Annoying.

Fortunately, it looks like Halsey isn't letting the haters take over her life. She's teased that a big new project is on the way:

I'm usually really good at keeping things a secret like songs and albums and videos and collabs. But sometimes I just get reaaaaaaally juiced about something and everyday [sic] feels like I'm gonna explode with the secret.

We're ready when you are, Halsey!
