Kylen Suttner, a fitness TikToker and influencer, was doing her daily workout at the gym as usual when suddenly a woman came up and snatched weights away from her.
Suttner finished a set and put her free weights down, only for a pair of hands to come and snatch one of the dumbbells away from her almost as soon as it touched the floor.

"Oh sorry, I was using that," Suttner said.
The woman immediately fired back:
“I’ve been waiting for these for a really long time. You’ve had them forever.”

After being shocked by the person's response, Suttner tried again.
"I just have a couple more," she said to the offscreen voice, who replied:
“You’ve had them long enough.”
People could not believe how rude the interaction was.

Suttner posted a follow-up video in which she said she didn't see herself returning to a public gym for a "long, long time" after the incident.

Unfortunately, this was far from the first time someone was this rude in a public gym setting.
“A guy literally tried taking it out of my hand mid set. Becuz he ‘couldn’t’ use the silver ones,” said one user.

Suttner told the Daily Dot the other woman should have "[found] another pair of dumbbells" or "report [her] to the front desk if they think [she] had them for an excessive amount of time.”
But ultimately, Suttner's composure got her a lot of notice.
“[It's] Crazy to see how many people something like this has happened to,” she reflected.
