Home security cameras can alert homeowners of prowlers and help protect residents from other suspicious activity.

They also can expose how someone really feels about the homeowner.

A doorbell camera captured a man talking on the phone while walking up the porch steps—and insulting the man of the house with a spiteful name.

The guy, presumably the boyfriend of the homeowner's daughter, was heard saying:

"Alright, well, yeah, I gotta go meet this d***head so…"

His regret was apparent when he noticed there was a camera at the door that captured his indiscretion.

Oops.

The boyfriend groaned at the discovery and was heard saying, "ugggghh godd*mmit."

The TikTok clip of the footage described it as:

"When you realize her dad has a doorbell cam."

The clip was posted by TikToker @corighteous, and it went viral with 2.4 million views and over 1,000 comments.

Whoever this dude was, he is clearly not a fan of the dad.

His future as a potential son-in-law started looking dim, as reflected in the comments.

Some people suggested he should just walk away at that point.

Many remained hopeful for a sequel to disclose the outcome.

But until one gets posted, if at all, viewers will just have to wait and have their popcorn ready.
