Guy Offers Cringey Comeback After Woman He Hit On At Gym Tells Him She's 'Too Young' For Him

YouTuber and model, Avrey Ovard, 19, was stretching on a yoga mat at the gym when a man she said was in his 40s hit on her.

When she told him she was "too young" for him, he responded with a cringe-worthy comment that gave the internet the heebie jeebies.

@avreyovard

for those who saw my YT vid lmao here’s this …. LEAVE WOMEN ALONE!!!! #gym #gymgirl #PerfectMarcJacobs

The video started with her stretching on a yoga mat for a video when she was interrupted by the guy, who was visible from the waist down, trying to strike up a conversation and asking if she was "taking a video."

When she said confirmed she was, he said, "cool," and walked away.

Five minutes later, he emerged from the physical therapy room inside the gym and motioned for Ovard to take her in-ear buds out so he could ask her for her name.

After indulging him, she gave no sign of interest in wanting to prolong the conversation. As she focused back down on her phone, the guy continued rambling about how he tore something and was in physical therapy for it.

He then told her:

"When I'm able to get out you might be here. I wanted to get your number for dinner."

She told him, "Oh, I'm sorry, I'm too young for you."

His response before walking away was:

"Well, I'm too rich."

The clip ended with a close-up of her expression that could be read as "did that just happen?"

She posted the clip on TikTok where it went viral with 1.4 million views in one day, according to the Daily Dot.

People commented on the behaviors of men who don't get their way.

Ovard explained later in the YouTube video, which she was filming for when she had the awkward encounter, that she had never been hit on at the gym before.

"I see a lot of TikTok videos of girls being hit on at the gym," she said, "and I always think how I'm lucky that's never happened to me."

She had a special message for men who tend to be more focused on potential dates than on their workouts.

"Leave women alone in the gym. It's the last place I ever want to be hit on."

The White House is facing heavy criticism after it posted a video on X showing off a new painting of President Donald Trump's assassination attempt last summer—that is now hanging where an official portrait of former President Barack Obama was once displayed.

The portrait of Obama, unveiled in 2022 during former President Joe Biden’s administration, remains on display in the White House but has been relocated. Originally hung near the staircase to the presidential residence on the State Floor, it has been moved to the opposite wall—where a portrait of former President George W. Bush once hung.
