TikToker @smclyne's proposal was all wet after he fumbled the ring box.

Commitment is one thing to look forward to in a marriage.

A laughworthy video posted to Tik Tok shows one future husband pretty committed to not letting the ocean ruin his proposal.

Like any future groom should, Scott tried his best to pull out all the stops while asking long time girlfriend Suzie Tucker to be his wife.

The hopeful groom-to-be chartered a yacht on the Gulf of Mexico and scattered rose petals to set the mood. While enjoying a sunset, everything went smoothly right up until Scott reached into his pocket to pull out the engagement ring.

He said:

"I had the ring in my back pocket and went to reach for it."
"The corner of the ring box got caught on the top of my pocket and slipped out of my hands."

Immediately after the ring was on the move, Scott was too.

He reflexively backflipped into the gulf resulting in a timely save before the ring box could disappear into the depths or float away.

"Everything was an absolute blur from that point on."
"All I remember thinking was this can't be happening and next thing I knew I was in the water."

Scott's unorthodox proposal and acrobatic save left viewers in awe.

In the end, Scott got the memorable proposal he was gunning for and Suzie ended up saying "yes".

The two now look forward to their upcoming wedding where Scott will hopefully be on dry land.

Even Trump's NASA Director Had To Set Kim Kardashian Straight After She Said The Moon Landing 'Didn't Happen'

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy—who is also NASA's Acting Administrator—issued the weirdest fact-check ever when he corrected reality star Kim Kardashian after she revealed herself to be a moon landing conspiracist.

Conspiracy theorists have long alleged the moon landing was fabricated by NASA in what they claim was an elaborate hoax—and Kardashian certainly made it clear where she stands in a video speaking to co-star Sarah Paulson on the set of the new Hulu drama All’s Fair.

Special Olympics Fires Back At Kid Rock With Powerful Statement After He Used 'The R-Word' To Describe Halloween Costume

MAGA singer Kid Rock was called out by Loretta Claiborne, the Chief Inspiration Officer of the Special Olympics, after he used the "r-word"—a known ableist slur—to describe his Halloween costume this year.

Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, was speaking with Fox News host Jesse Watters when he donned a face mask and said he'd be going as a "r**ard" for Halloween. Watters had guessed he was dressed as Dr. Anthony Fauci, the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases who spearheaded the nation's COVID-19 pandemic response.
