A groom went viral for his epic wedding entrance that would have rapper Kendrick Lamar beaming with PRIDE.
The video showed Shamar Marchand's (née Brown) fiancé, Adler Marchand, standing at the altar at the Hilton Miami Aventura in Florida on March 1, looking sharp in his cream-colored suit and oversized black tie.
Marchand's best man, Bryan Roberts, performed last-minute checks on the groom's appearance as they mimicked the dialogue from a playback of the SuperBowl LIX Halftime version of Lamar's "Not Like Us."
"It's a wedding day vibe, imma step up through the door," Marchand lip-synched as Roberts mouthed the line, "You really 'bout to do it?"
Marchand continued, "Ring and vows set in place this is bigger than the moment," to which Roberts asked again, "You really 'bout to do it?"
As Lamar rapped, "Ayy, I'm trippin', I'm slidin', I'm MARCHin' down the aisle like, 'Baow, " Marchand began strutting down the aisle to the beat of the song, much to the delight of the 206 guests attending the ceremony.
Roberts eventually joined Marchand and began trucking along beside him, similar to the way Lamar grooved during his Super Bowl performance on February 9 at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
The wedding crowd went wild.
Here's the viral clip shared by Marchand's young sister, Yrva.

Marchand recalled the excitement with People magazine, saying:
"The response from our guests was absolutely incredibleâthey went wild, hyping me up the entire way down the aisle."
"Many friends and family members mentioned that they expected nothing less, given my energy and creative talents."
He continued:
"I was admittedly nervous and even started forgetting some of the lyrics we rehearsed. I remember my best man whispering, 'Hold on, donât go yet!' when I started moving too early."
"Despite the nerves, we all improvised together, and that collective energy turned a few hiccups into one of the most memorable moments of our day."
Marchand told the publication that "Not Like Us" was a "last-minute decision" and that he originally had planned to "casually" walk down the aisle to "Hot."
He added:
"But after thinking about it more, I decided to remix Kendrickâs Halftime performance lyrics and reached out to my friend and producer Danny Ramirez, to see if he could rap and create it for me."
"Once he sent it back perfectly, I shared it with my fiancée at the time, and she approved. Then, I ran it by my best man, and he liked it too."
And so did the internet. They gave the duo a standing-o for the joyous bit.

Marchand and Roberts met up to rehearse the number in just ten minutes, two days before the wedding.
"And that was it!" he said. "The whole idea and execution came together within a week, making it one of the most spontaneous but exciting parts of the wedding."
The groom with rhythm said he's always been a "huge" fan of the rapper, "not just for his music, but for his vibe as an entertainer and creative visionary."
He was drawn to the energy in Lamar's Super Bowl performance, and, after watching it "100 times," Marchand was compelled to incorporate the "Not Like Us" vibe into the wedding.

It also made it a perfect fit for social media engagement.
"With my last name being Marchand and our wedding hashtag #MarchandDownTheAisle, it felt like a perfect and relevant match that truly captured the excitement and uniqueness of the day I was marrying my bride," said Marchand.
The couple met in 2016 when they were both attending Latter Rain Family Worship Center. Four years later, they became romantically linked after working together on their pastor's 50th birthday party.
They officially began dating on Aug. 2, 2020, and were engaged on Nov. 2, 2023.
"After years of dating, I knew she was the one," said Marchand. "Iâm now excited to tie the knot with my best friend."
And they did exchange vows on March 1, 2025, after his matrimonial pre-show, of course.
